Services: Design & Build Mechanical & Electrical Installation
Following construction of a new warehouse and production facility with office accommodation for Dunlop in Coventry, P&R Morson was contracted to design and install a full building services fit out to meet the client’s requirements.
The mechanical installation included low pressure hot water (LPHW) for the heating services, along with domestic water services, above ground drainage, ventilation systems, VRF air conditioning and sanitary ware. P&R Morson also developed the electrical fit out from concept through to detailed design and installation, including LV distribution, lighting, small power, fire alarm system, data networks and security systems.
The six month building services programme was the largest package of works on site and involved extensive co-ordination with the client and other contractors.
Following the design phase, P&R Morson was appointed as main contractor as part of a value engineering exercise to maintain the quality of the installation while reducing the operational costs of delivering the programme.
Following completion, P&R Morson’s sister company, Morson FM, has taken over the maintenance requirements for this site.
